Personality wise, I am fairly quiet when I get to know someone on an intimate level (i.e. friends rather than co-workers, networking, etc.). I am fun-loving, but VERY career-oriented. I am just starting to get into sewing. I can do some basic stuff, but I really am starting to work on my technique, trying to learn as much as possible. I love drawing and sketching out my designs. I've been sketching for a few years, and I've been getting a lot better. I love fashion and anything that has to do with fashion. I like reading anything and learning anything about fashion. I also love meeting new people.

My Style

My personal style consists of a lot of different things. I'm really influenced by Japanese street fashions and the whole "babydoll" look. I really like colorful, fun, bold clothing. I put a lot of stuff together that some people may see as being mis-matched and crazy, but I like crazy. I really love dresses and tank tops. Right now I really like doll-like details like lace, ruffles, bows, etc. Sometimes, I do like to par it down a little bit and just wear something simple and chic.

Favourite Labels

Chanel is so classic. It is a label I really look up to, as I know a lot of people do. They've done really well with keeping the brand going strong. I also love what John Galliano has been doing lately with Dior's Haute Couture. It is beautiful and inspiring. I loved Louis Vuitton's spring 2007 collection. Marc Jacobs did really well. It has inspired my style a lot this season. I'm really rooting for Thakoon; hoping he stays around for a while. There are too many designers I really like and admire.

Movies

Mean Girls, Old School, Taladega Nights, Anchorman, Will Ferrel is hilarious, The Notebook, Half Nelson, Ryan Gosling is amazing. I watched Half Nelson 7 times in 7 days. Then I had to take it back to Blockbuster. I still need to go buy that one.

Ideal Night Out

My ideal night out would be to take a few hours with my girls to get all dressed up in fun, crazy outifts (dresses preferred) and go out to the city. We'd go to dinner first (with just the girls) then we'd meet up with our guys later and go to the clubs and dance our hearts out. We'd stay at the club pretty late, then we'd go back to someone's place and party. After a while, the party would wind down, and a few of us would just chill out talk about real stuff. I'm always up for deep conversation and really getting to know someone. By the time the night was over, it'd be about 6 a.m. I'm a night owl.
