I'm a California photographer residing in Melbourne for the next few months and was told that aside from being on MM (#379393) that I should join Fashionising while here to help meet some more top caliber beautiful people to get in front of my lens. I've been a photographer for about 7 years now and love every moment of it. It's my release, my form of expression. It lets me be me and when you find yourself doing what you love, you find it to be thought as anything BUT work. I see everyday as a new adventure and I want to bring as many people with me on this wild ride I'm going on!

My Style

My style people have told me is seen as something that is not just ONE specific style. I have been told I can be very versatile as well as wild and crazy - and if that's the case I don't want to be normal because normal to me is BORING! I like to see something and then of course add my own twist to it that someone else wouldn't think could ever be an interesting combo and then figure out how to make it work. As I never had the privilege of having my own studio or having easy access to one - I have made the world my studio. I love shooting in new and interesting places all the time. I'll go that extra inch to make that shot happen, which has led me to shoot waist deep in NYC trash, has resulted in me covered in mud, as well as had me shoot in nothing but jeans and a t-shirt outside when it was 10 below freezing.

Something You Should Know

If you're not smiling/laughing more than I am during a shoot then I'm not doing something right. My shoots are all about having a good time.

Interests

Well of course photography! Other than that I'm a big movie and concert junkie. Really I just enjoy having a good time so whatever can do that is fine with me.

Hates

I HATE EGOS! I can't stand people who think I want to take their picture just because THEY think they are pretty. Nothing bugs me more than when I am out at a club and I meet someone and it comes up I'm a photographer and they tell ME I should do a photoshoot with them (as usually they have NO experience) and just think it means looking like a maxim girl in front of my lens, damn are they wrong!

I can't stand people who are superficial or brag about their so called acomplishments to get them above someone else. As long as you are down to earth and true, as well as just act yourself you're good in my book.

Ideal Night Out

A delicious dinner at a restaurant or a home cooked meal. It doesn't have to be something elegant all the time, I'm just as pleased having steak and lobster as I would a Double Double from In n' Out Burger, just as long as its tasty! I am as much up for going out to a nightclub and dancing until the sun comes up, or cozying up on the couch with someone and watching movies it really all depends on the mood on the evening.

I may seem tacky and cliche by saying this but it's true, I do enjoy walks on the beach - just has become a part of having lived in Southern California!
