It seems that Japan's Numero Homme is intent on even further blurring the gender line. However instead of heading down the well-trodden route of using an androgynous model like Andrej Pejic, the folks at Numero have instead decided to emasculate Harry Goodwins by pairing him with Hello Kitty.

It looks as if I was previously mistaken when I speculated that Lara Stone had been replaced as the face of DKNY's delicious campaign. Her absence seems to have been a temporary one, instead Lara and her apples have been re-dubbed as "Golden Delicious" for Donna Karan's latest fragrance campaign.

There was much excitement when Banana Republic announced their collaboration with Mad Men's Janie Bryant on a collection that would channel the show's vintage cool. The most frustrating thing about it was the wait, with the collection being announced many months before it would be available in stores. The good news is that for some the wait is over, with a very limited time sale on right now at Gilt.com which has several pieces from the collection on offer a fortnight before the collection even hits the stores. So all you need now is a gilt invite.

In the coming months we'll be seeing Missoni team up with Target and Versace with H&M. However, designer diffusions don't always go in a cheaper direction. The first time we really took note of this was when we stumbled across the ridiculously quick Bugatti Veyron which had been re-styled by Hermes. In the same year, Hermes worked alongside Citroen to make a one-of-a kind '89 2CV. Both of these by their nature were out of reach for most everyone. Someone appears to have been taking notes on their marketing success.
In May, we told you about Fiat and Gucci. Today, landing on our desk is the news that the masters of the fashion-cross-brand, colette, have teamed up with Aston Martin to bring fourteen bespoke built Cygnets to the market. The Cygnet is Aston Martin's new microcar offering, with only a 1.3L engine it is far removed from the company's usually sporty offerings. You can see a list of features included in the bespoke colette version after the jump.
