Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

Leisure made sexy in a sea of light (NSFW)

Easy like Sunday morning with a sea of light washing over the quiet room, the smell of fresh coffee dressing the early bright air, her sexy presence changing everything about the calmness of the atmosphere so divinely described in Antony Nobilo‘s photo shoot. Messy hair, hints of bare skin, a pleasant idleness and a sensual Kristina Lipinskaite make you long for long, lazy days, simply…

How to: the four-bun fauxhawk at Marc by Marc Jacobs

The Marc by Marc Jacobs girl is going to a rave for spring / summer 2015, her look punky and girly, the inspiration coming from Björk and the neo-hippie phase of the late-80’.  Created by Redken’s Global Styling Director Guido Palau, the tough cross between a mohawk and a topknot gets infinitely more refined and gains a hint of girly innocence for the upcoming seasons.…

Still portraits of the new luxe

Sleek and tailored, loose and weightless, printed and elaborate; a little bit on the extravagant side, boyish at times, minimal now and again; the new luxe may as well be fearless in attitude and unconventional at heart, but it is decidedly sophisticated in any of its countless forms. Making for a beautiful juxtaposition, Koty 2’s still series of portraits pairs luxury with utter comfort, having…

Looking back but moving forward

Even as you move forward it’s OK to look back, to take in everything that was good and far-out about the days gone by and use it to mold an unconventional tale of the future. Fine cuts and sharp silhouettes intertwined with dusty florals, sporty neoprene and fine, sparkling textures, do more than quietly melting past into present, creating an avant-garde style that’s marching confidently…

The best kind of beautiful

Sometimes it’s that spark in the eyes fueled by happiness the one to augment true beauty, the brightness of a smile to shine on through, the natural glow of the skin to put everything else in the shade. The rest is just a sprinkle of illusion, bits and bobs building a shred of a fantasy. Photographed by Hylke Greidanus underneath an ocean of light and near…

Big hair, big attitude

There’s something about big, unapologetic hair oozing with ’70s influences that makes one step right into a disco dream, even without the enticing mirror ball and funky music there to lure you in. Luckily, a bunch of colourful 70’s buses, plenty of metallic textures and showy accessories, and an overall steam of glamour overcasting Magic Owen’s photo shoot are enough elements to shape up a…
