Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

How to: the forward topknot at Marc Jacobs

There’s no accident in her beauty, no ease, no signs of nonchalance, because for fall 2015, the Marc Jacobs woman goes ultra chic, uptown and pulled together, her entire look made to appear sleek, sculptured, tough. Inspired by grand ladies and chic women from the ’40s and ’70s (think Ida Sitwell), the forward topknot created by Guido Palau for Marc Jacobs’ fall 2015 presentation acts…

Deserted between light and nowhere

A state of wonder replete with startling sensibility, a girl that looks more like an ethereal being, and a nameless place drowned in foggy light. Built out on desolation, a whisper of melancholy, on mystery and fear of the unknown, Luca Meneghel’s latest editorial arises as beautiful and fragile as a dream. Deserted between light and nowhere, the gorgeous Dasha Kulikova does ghostly beauty with impossible…

A bridge between power and beauty

The thing about beauty is that it can be made into countless statements, molded to resemble the classic, or built to loose all conventional signs, it can be shaped to reach the extraordinary, or framed to shock, it can ooze delicacy, or exude strength, it can be everything or nothing at all. By setting her creativity in motion, Michelle Aristocrat builds a bridge between power…

Stepping into a dream world

Day dreaming of magic spaces, of old places imbued with history, of lifelong windows overflowing with light and enduring steps that have witnessed too many moments rush by; perhaps indulging in such reverie should be considered a thing of luxury, but Jay Tang’s photographs act like hidden doors, allowing one to step into a dream world and observe how bits of reality merge and mingle in…

Androgyny meets rock & roll in sunny California

Say California and at once your mind gets awash with images of clear blue skies and sunny streets, of palm trees and hot babes, of beach waves and breathtaking sunsets.
