Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

Thank God for Haute Couture, for its marvelous beauty that seems to be spanning from another world, for its countless layers, all equally sublime, imploring to be gently brought to light and set to float freely. And what better setting for them to be awakening to life than one made of quiet, sunny streets just waiting for the extraordinary? Photographed by Benjamin Kanarek, the world puts…

How to: Diesel’s side-slicked low ponytail

There’s no such thing as too many ready-to-wear styles for a woman to be adding to her hair repertoire, all the more when said styles have their origins on the runway. Slightly futuristic and polished, the update on the classic ponytail seen at Diesel’s spring/summer 2015 show is imagined for, and inspired by the modern woman. Created by Redken’s Global Styling Director Guido Palau, the…

What if she ruled the world?

There are questions that beg for straight answers, questions that have the response written all over them, and then there are questions that set entire fantasies in motion. Like what if Talisa Quirk would rule the world, would the seas rise at her word, would the universe turn icy cold, would colours disappear leaving nothing but trails of white smoke behind? Engraved in utter silence,…

Down by the quiet sea

The red of the roses and the blue of the sea don’t often meet, their realities rarely collide, and when they do come to share the same infinity it is all owed to a happy chance, or perhaps to someone’s strong desire to fill the world with beauty beyond compare. 8 gorgeous beauty looks from the Milan runways

The minimal, barely-there makeup looks abounded on the Milan Fashion Week (MFW) runways as if to emphasize bare beauty as the major trend expected to rule come spring 2015.
