Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

Beauty shielded in strength

Perhaps it is something to do with the hooded silhouette, or maybe it’s just Lish’s cool attitude painting everything in forceful notes, but there’s no denying in the fact that Heike Suhre‘s photo shoot is the kind that sends forward a beauty that’s shielded in strength.

Beauty gone wild on colours

It often happens with Weronika Kosinska‘s splendid editorials to not know where to lay your eyes first, what part of the story to breath in before all else, how much inspiration to actually allow to run through your mind, because it all looks beyond beautiful, and that same entirety is threatening to forever leave an imprint on the way you currently perceive the world shaping…

Copper eyeshadow: a fall 2014 beauty trend

Once fall settles in, the beauty department tends to cave in to the dramatic, as the colours grow darker, the textures become richer and everything in between is made to look moody and lavish. One of the most remarkable make-up trends for autumn 2014 sees that a balance is being set amid the spectacular influence reaching out from the runway, and the way that same…

When all the pieces fit together

You wouldn’t expect a collection bearing such a complicated conception to appear looking so sleek and effortless, just the way you often tend to forget that even the simplest of garments is envisioned to tell a story, a story that sometimes happens to be about the people wearing them, about their love life set against an ever changing society, about the broad world, about broken…

How to: the 70s-inspired faux bangs at Coach

You can count on fall 2014‘s ’70s influences to carry forward way into the spring of 2015, where the flared silhouettes and furry coats in dusty pastels will serve to rebuild the effortless appeal of the classic Americana look. Imagined to complement the cool girl attitude of Coach spring 2015, Guido Palau’s low side part was swiped across the forehead, and allowed to softly hover…

Lady of the butterflies

The character: a lady in red. The setting: a curtain of  butterflies caught in a still dance. The story: might as well be just about anything and everything, for where there’s beauty, a little bit of magic and a strong desire to get lost in a fantasy, the mind starts wandering and the imagination starts working, tying the invisible lines all on their own. With…

Maria bares it all in sensual black and white (NSFW)

We’ve seen her dressed in black, rocking fitted bandage frocks and lush neon swimwear, always a vision, always to be captured by Sergey Korolkov‘s lens. Enveloped in nothing but the gentle black and white shades, Maria Popova bares it all for the camera, surrounded by solitary cliffs and crystal-clear waters, revealing at last a body fit for a goddess.

A woman on the go rewrites the urban rhapsody

A regular fall day in the city intersects the woman on the go, all snuggled up in cozy fabrics, reveling in easy silhouettes, her feet barely touching ground in colourful sports shoes. A portrayal of normality sees fashion delve into the realm of comfort, all signs of opulence left aside, the only thing emerging being the chic made simple, as photographed by Benjamin Kanarek on…
