Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

She is the quiet storm, the ocean goddess

Dark, stormy skies melt into the moody blues of the ocean, as if to parallel the queen’s intimidating allure, just as she, all raven-black hair and tanned skin, takes it to imprint her surroundings with a little bit of gold magic and tough sex-appeal. Of course, the mystical tableau is rather modern and enigmatic, brought up-do-date and brimming with inspiration as styled by Matthew Peridis,…

A blooming spring affair

Florals for spring: not quite the groundbreaking concept if you were to ask Miranda Priestly, but one that keeps on building fantasy after fantasy, its core enchanting forevermore, its spirit revamped, renewed, reaffirmed with every season that goes by. From the delicate to the daring, 2015’s florals make for a blooming spring affair, as brilliantly styled by Coline Peyrot and captured by Benjamin Kanarek.

Bright mornings in slow motion

Some mornings are to be drawn out and savored, glass of juice in the hand, rays of sunshine on skin, hair messy, face bare, reality kept at a distance. Some moments are not to be rushed but made cozy and lazy, with pretty lingerie, fluffy sweaters and loose t-shirts, with you dressed for comfort, but open to possibilities. Intimate, unhurried, real, this is Nuria Rincon‘s…

A dance between shadow and light

A dance between shadow and light with no music to hear but a slow rhythm to follow, to take in just as it gently guides their sway to colour everything magic. For all is resplendent and nothing is heavy…

Style inspiration: reinventing the fashion code for spring

With the ’70s breezing back in for spring 2015, and the fashion code currently being rewritten, everything goes just as long as the retro mood is being lightly preserved. At least, this is the concept that the gorgeous Marine Van Outryve appears to offer up as inspiration, all while donning this season’s must-have looks styled by Christine Van Laer, and photographed by Hicham Riad for…
