Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

A plastic fantasy: pop art meets futuristic thrills

The world definitely needs more of this, more of the fun, bubbly reality imagined by Casa Darwin for Plastic Dreams, more of the futuristic thrills so beautifully flashed about by Brazilian stunners Aline Weber and Carmelita Mendes. Escape to a tropical paradise

When the air is shielded by the warmest light, when you find yourself surrounded by cannas, endless bamboo gardens and hundreds of cactus species, when you can almost taste the humid air and everything around you gains a lighter feel, you know you’ve stumbled upon a corner of paradise, be it tangible or imaginary, spreading wide before your eyes, filling the pages of a book,…

Under the spotlight: flowers, prints, buoyancy

To assume that flowers and flower prints serve to convey a romantic mood only would be a terrible overstatement. From light and dreamy to dark and moody, they transform with a swap of colour, from utter-feminine to laid-back and cool, they turnabout with a basic shift in silhouette, the only thing to remain unaltered however is their intensity, forever abounding, forever entrapping, as delightfully put…

Prolonging the sweet taste of summer

Down by the pool, the air will always smell of summer; add a clear sky, a burning sun and a hot piece of swimwear to the breezy setting and the afternoons become all about capturing and prolonging the magic of the sunny season. And perhaps one fine day doesn’t make a summer, but it is quite enough to fuel the spirit with the freedom and…

Men’s fall / winter 2014 fashion trends

While the men’s fashion trends do tend to evolve at a slower pace, they are still constantly changing shape, embracing new attitudes, taking on new colour palettes, indulging in modernized patterns and crisper prints. Marking a subtle progress, or quite the drastic shift in direction, the men’s 2014 fashion trends for fall / winter allow for the story to further expand, as both the fabrics…

A tale of fantasy, a mood for romance

Fantasy builds upon fantasy, the imagination awakens when a vision becomes entangled in a thought, and the reality can’t help but resign in the presence of creativity. Laying a tale upon a tale, conjuring a romantic mood and gathering inspiration from an epic film, Attila Olah’s ethereal photo shoot conquers all boundaries, creating magic from a single spark, and thus setting an open invitation to…

Turning the tide, rewriting her story

At first glance she could be anyone, her story still a blank canvas. She could be a wanderer, or she could belong to a small place somewhere near the sea, she could be a dreamer, or a woman in love, she could be searching her way, or she could just as confidently be following her heart. A work in progress, her story shifts with each…

Half masculine, half undressed (NSFW)

Hair slightly wet gently brushed across the forehead, skin glowing, lips lavishly glossed: it’s all there and it’s all screaming instant sex-appeal. And then her body revels in another beautiful juxtaposition, for when it is not concealed in severe button-downs and high-waisted tailored pants awash with menswear inspiration, it lies bare, undisguised, beautiful, freed of any constraints. Powerful, glamorous and highly sensual, Francesco Barion‘s photographs…
