Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.

Masculine lines meet the gray concrete

Nothing about the urban landscape gets to ever be considered dull, not on the gloomiest of days, not even when its colors start to slowly fade away. Photographed by Jesse Koska, the gray concrete morphs into an abstract cove, concealing, uplifting, with a story hidden behind every single cranny. Something as precise as the masculine lines describing the beautiful selection of coats styled by Sheena Winiarski,…

An achromatic avalanche of emotions

The lack of colour is often imagined as a mean of intensifying the already dramatic, with the accent falling on a raw string of emotions rather unperturbed, unadorned, unbeautified. With Michael K P Robinson behind the lens, the angle changes constantly, the mood oscillates back and forth, the feelings are being let loose. And it’s the gorgeous Allex Stelja the one to epitomize every emotion,…

Blooming romance & the new portrait of femininity: Simona Semen

For fall and winter she was austere, yet undeniable elegant, now it’s time for romance and femininity to define the main character of Simona Semen‘s latest collection. Inspired by David Hamilton’s ethereal photography, the spring / summer 2014 lineup is intensified by a seductive gentleness, having sophisticated lace, elaborate embroideries and overlapping layers of sheerness get lost in an aristocratic fantasy.

How to get Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 hairstyle

Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man hair lends guys one final reason to be inspired by the teenage superhero. You would think that the action of constantly putting on and taking off his mask would leave the character’s locks into a completely undesirable state, but looking fabulous is apparently part of the job. With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ready to hit theatres all around the world, we focus…

Russian pop star Roma Acorn is way hotter than you realised

Perhaps is the deluge of allusive tattoos, or the muted tones enclosing the industrial space opening up by the pool; better yet, the too-cool-to-care attitude carefully orchestrated as to clash with a slight sexual portrait of Roma Acorn, a portrait that revels upon a certain sense of maturity. Whichever the case, one thing remains certain: the Russian pop star doesn’t have to disclose his young…

A hint of skin, a touch of leather and one hot babe

There are many types of raw sexuality being successfully explored in today’s undisguised take on fashion, some coming to sight plain irresistible, others playing the innocence card; but there are few to actually hit hard and all at once, like an ocean wave hurled around in a storm. The kind of sex-appeal that is born straight out of a devil-may-care attitude, the kind that comes…

A spring poem that blossoms just past midnight

Who’s to say spring awakens to witness nothing but a glorious sunrise? Past midnight, when the world is lost in silence, when the sky turns that perfect shade of inky blue, when the earth appears to stand still for hours at a time, that is when true magic is known to happen. Trees blossoming and colours bursting, for amongst them all lies her, the radiant…

Lady of blood: keeping the magic alive

Magical being or mythical creature, living a curse or perhaps epitomizing a blessing, the lady of blood is one to hide under many disguises, but it is utter danger that she ultimately portrays when hunted and facing peril. Sometimes she’s nothing more than a shadow vanishing through the wall, at other times she is raw, freezing magnetism. For photographer Redavell Tjen instead, the witch becomes…
