Black is the new black with a touch of lace at Reem Acra, taking a New Yorker’s favorite color to another level for fall 2013. One of the standout looks was a black sequin gown decorated with lace floral embellishments and a fanned-out bottom hem. Another favorite was the first look down the runway of a black dress with bold red lace floral embellishments.

One word: WOW. The Betsey Johnson show this season was one that knocked your socks off. The models strutted down the New York fashion week runway in true Betsey fashion, dancing and carrying on. The mix was an eclectic one taking in fur, plaid, glittery dresses, and plenty of pink.

Custo Barcelona’s New York fashion week (NYFW) show made us feel like we were walking into an old village in Spain. Imagine cobblestones, ancient buildings, vegetable stands and Spanish speakers.
