Beauty review: Schick Quattro Razor

For all the money I spend on skincare and moisturisers and the like, I must confess that when it comes to shaving I'm a bit of a cheap-arse (particularly in Winter - much to the disdain of the men in my life). So when I received a Schick Quattro for review, my expectation was for another over-priced piece of plastic and metal that wouldn't do my skin any great favours.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Looks like her jeans aren't the only thing that Agyness Deyn is taking her scissors to. In this TV spot for Jean Paul Gaultier's Madame perfume Agyness takes to not only cutting up her wig but also ripping up her clothes too.

As for the inspiration behind the fragrance Jean Paul says: "It's my type of woman — at the same time fragile and strong, like a tomboy that is a little androgynous in attitude so, you know, she can cut her hair if she wants". Well if that doesn't suit Agy to a tee we don't know what will.

PS: I love Agyness with a fringe.

When I first glanced across some of the recent paparazzi photos of Lindsay Lohan it crossed my mind that she'd finally stopped wearing black leggings. The actress come singer come Marylin Monroe breast-a-like had finally moved on, found something else, expanded her horizons. And what did I think she'd found? White leggings. Out with the black, in with the white.

Review: Designers for Sunsilk haircare

There have been so many designer collaborations in the past few years it's been hard to keep up. But though we've seen many a clothing range or fragrance, it's Sunsilk that have done something truly unique: designer hair-care. SunSilk was the first haircare brand to collaborate with fashion designers on a range last year - and in 2008 they've brought a limited edition of three more well known Australian designers to the shelves.

Peter Morrissey, Collette Dinningan and Alice McCall are this year's star attractions to the Sunsilk brand.

Perfect grooming: bringing girly glamour back

Look at these pictures of Christina Aguilera. The picture on the left could be anyone, on her way to get the paper and interrupted by an annoying phone call. Now check out the one on the right. Wow!

For me, these pics drive home a major lesson: don't get lazy with your outfits! The magic is in the little things: that flash of colour; that unexpected touch; that little bit of perfection, like a gorgeously manicured hand. You might not notice it at all until you're about to part ways and someone offers you their hand to shake, complete with chic black nails. It's a footnote that says: 'you know I'm hot!'
