Ecostore eco friendly bodycare & cleaning products

I've not yet had the chance to visit New Zealand, but I'm fast becoming convinced that plenty of good things come out of that little country. Beached whales for one. My latest find, though, is an unassuming, unimposing little bunch of products by a NZ brand called Ecostore.

Ecostore eco-friendly products

So far I've tested out Ecostore's soaps and washing powder, and I love both. I could tell you about the environmental benefits of the products, but I don't really feel compelled to. If being eco-friendly is an important factor for you, then you're well sold on that point. So in practical terms, I can tell you this: Ecostore's soaps are gentle on the skin, and they smell delightful. As far as their washing powder goes, it goes... well... very slowly. One teeny-tiny scoop is enough for a full load of washing, so value for money is definitely a plus. It also works just as well as any other washing powder I've used (and like any fashioniser worth her salt, I'm very particular when it comes to taking care of my clothes!)

I've pondered the notion of eco-luxury in the past, but the thing about Ecostore's products is that they're so simple, they're much the opposite. They're not trying to convince me I'm using something luxurious; nor that I should pat myself on the back for being so environmentally conscious. They're just concerned with being natural, usable, every-day products. And that is what I find so refreshing.

There aren't too many alpha-females out there and, though she might deny it, Tania Braukamper certainly exudes their qualities. A keen eye, a focused approach, and a wardrobe spanning three rooms have made her one of the savviest of dressers. But it's not all couture for Tania, earning her fashionista credentials she'll frequently be seen on the town in a one-off, vintage dress and a pair of Gucci heels.

She says: Vintage will never go out of style
We say: Does that include vintage 80s?
