Pale pink lipstick: an alternative to red
If the bright red lipstick trend isn't your cup of tea, there's always the option of pale pink. Rebecca Romijn and Vanessa Williams were leading the way at the Emmy's recently by matching matte lips with sparkling eyes.
Charlize Theron has opted for heavier eyes and more subtle lips instead of bright reds and pinks, while Hilary Duff wears pale lips by only showing off a light pink frosting.
Diane Kruger has been spotted this year at Cannes film festival with nude lips, and tends to be a big fan of the look in general. Wear pale lips with caution - make sure you brighen up your eyes or else you will look like you are wearing no makeup at all!

More celebrity addict than fashion diva, we leave it to Renata to give us our daily injection of society gossip that even Page Six would pass on.
