But what about taking it to the next level and going the full crop? Michelle Williams was one star who took the daring move from long hair to pixie crop. This drastic short style makes her eyes stand out and gives her a very innocent appeal. Another celebrity who has sported a shorter look in the past was Natalie Portman, whose short crop suited her heart shaped face.
Even more recently we've seen Mena Suvari with a pixie crop, after shaving off all her hair for a movie role. Though not idea for her face shape and large forehead, she's been bold enough to wear the style with confidence. Rumer Willis has also made the change to a bleached-blonde crop.
