How to: Versace rock ‘n’ roll beauty look
It’s always best to prep your skin before working on any make up look. After washing your face, apply on some moisturizer or an all in one make up primer to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. A good primer also helps your make up stay on longer.
The base of this look is clear and flawless. Get this by putting on foundation evenly on your skin. You can use a brush or your fingers to do this just make sure your get a shade that matches your skin tone. For areas that need extra coverage like under your eyes, you can use a concealer. Gently dab it on the area with a brush so it blends out evenly.
This look may be simple but it has this certain glow to it which can be achieved by highlighting. With a brush apply loose powder (in a slightly lighter shade than your skin tone) on your cheekbones and on the bridge of your nose.
The main focus of this look is the eyes which is why there is only a hint of colour on the cheeks. Take a blush brush and lightly apply blush (preferably in a peach shade) on the apples of your cheeks.
This look basically uses eyeliner and you will want one that’s liquid and another that’s a pencil. Start by taking the black eye pencil and apply in on your upper and lower water lines. Line your lower lash line once again and lightly smudge it with your finger or a cotton tip. Next, take the liquid eyeliner and line your upper lash line.
Add a hint of shimmer and more smudge by applying some grey eye shadow (with a hint of shimmer) on your lower lash line. Use a brush so that it’ll blend well with the eye pencil.
Fill in or define your eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil that matches the shade of your hair. For a more natural look, keep your strokes soft and short.
Start working on your eyelashes by curling them and then putting on two coats of mascara. Then take two sets of false eyelashes. Apply the first set on the entire lid and the second set goes to the outer edges of your eyes for a more dramatic look.
With these eyes you don’t need to do much on your lips. Just put on some lip balm and you’re all set.
Don’t let the simplicity of these steps fool you, this beauty look is still one that’s very dramatic. Rock ‘n’ roll is never out of style which makes it safe to say that your can’t go wrong with make up like this.
