Nail polishes named in honor of James Bond films… Does it matter if the connections between the colours and the films they’re named after is flimsy, at best? Not really – OPI’s limited edition collection is as good an excuse as any to revel in the release of SKYFALL and the 50 year anniversary of James Bond.
The OPI SKYFALL collection has 12 shades, from ‘Moonraker’, which is metallic grey like a Bond car, to ‘The Living Daylights’, a multi-hued explosion of glitter sparkles that’s surely an homage to the ’80s. The ‘Skyfall’ shade, if you’re wondering, is a deep maroon.
There’s a lucky 13th colour rounding out the collection: ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’ top coat with genuine 18k gold leaf. You can pick it up for a still reasonable £30 and it comes in a special gold-tone bottle.
