It seems rare, these days, to see Daria Werbowy as anything but her natural, effortless, tomboyish self. Not that vampish glamour was ever, for even a second, out of her reach. That’s what Terry Richardson is liable to bring out in a cover girl for Vogue Russia, where Daria’s accompanying shoot has her feline eyes accentuated by shimmering shadows of varying hues, not to mention the odd bit of deep berry lipstick or cheekbones so sharp they could cut you.
It’s all vampish styling that’s a little too bling for most situations, though the power of Werbowy – and the ironic twinkle of Richardson – keeps things grounded.
