Cheap Monday jumps in with Ripped Jeans

It seems that suddenly everyone is jumping in on the ripped jeans trend bandwagon; from the crazy hot Natasha Poly in Vogue Paris to scientology enthusiast Katie Holmes. And that's a good thing, because, frankly, it's a much better look than the boyfriend jeans trend.

So with the trend's popularity growing it comes as no surprise to see brands including it in their 2009 Spring/Summer collections. As we've seen ripped jeans from Balmain, so too do we now see it from Cheap Mondays amongst their Spring/Summer 2009 offering.

Cheap Monday Ripped Jeans

With their high waist and light wash, these ripped Cheap Monday jeans could qualify as a perfect pair. However, the oversized rip on the left thigh is bigger than we might otherwie expect. Still, keep your legs tanned and you'll have our thumbs up.

It's left to Allan to bring the street look to Fashionising.com. It's simply his scene, and, let's face it, his tastes in high-top Nikes will never be shared by the rest of us. Marrying colourful bright colours with awfully tight skinny jeans has become a trademark look for him, and shows the true nature of fashion trend divergence we're always blogging about. Always beating the pavements of some inner-city hub look to Allan for upcoming street trends that may end up mainstream sooner then you think. He says: Beware of neon. We say: Why do you wear it then?
