Just when we thought the Prada Fairy Bag couldn't get any more desirable, comes another version of it. With a plum base colour and made of deer hide don't get your hopes up about owning one: Prada isn't producing them.

New from Joolz: eco-friendly jewellery

Airdrie, fashioniser and creative force behind the label Joolz, never seems to take a breath. Launching her latest designs in Melbourne later this month, she's been busy at work using recycled materials (everything from recycled metal, timber and glass, through to old children's toys!) to create an intriguing new range of accessories.

There are diamond girls and pearls girls, and Airdrie fits firmly into the latter category (as do I). So despite her experimentation with new materials, I was pleased to find out that pearls have still found their way into the new Joolz collection.

Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag: Spring 2008's It Bag

You can't really cover handbag trends the same as you can track fashion trends or hair trends, so I've never really tried. A bag is either in our out. But if you are looking to invest in an 'it bag' for 2008 how about Ralph Lauren's epitomous Ricky Bag?

Specsavers launches in Australia

I've always found it pretty hard to find a pair of specs that are both fashionable and reasonably priced. It's like the major optical stores in Australia have never quite cottoned on to the fact that glasses are a fashion accessory, as well as a necessity, for many people.

Specsavers, a highly successful UK franchise, have just hit Australia's shores, and I'm pleased to say they're finally making an effort to fill that market gap.

Daily Desire: Evian x Christian LaCroix Water

Evian has never been lazy about packaging and they had the right idea a long time ago packaging and selling bottled water way before it became cool. Their packaging last year or "The Glacier", was incredibly cool so topping it would definitely be hard, so for 2008 they've teamed up with the amazing courtier Christian LaCroix to make some Haute water (ok I appologise not only is that joke terrible but it's the second time I've used it). There are actually two different designs a "Haute Couture" design and one that is ready to wear.

Daily Desire: Help I need Mittens!

I was talking to Daniel today, and I asked him a most pertinent question: "Do you think that people our age wearing mittens might just look a little insane?". His reply, "Of course not". He might have just been humouring me but the challenge was set before me; find a pair of mittens that I could wear (when winter comes not now, cause that would just be insane). Apparently it's not that easy, I've come across countless mittens that look like they belong with a parka, and these are not what I was looking for at all. I want something knitted, something that reminds me of my childhood, except you know... not sown into the sleeves of my jumper. I was becoming disheartened until I came across these;

The Silver Prada Phone

Apparently selling over 700,000 Prada phones wasn't enough for LG. So here comes a new and slightly updated one, and it has one very noticeable difference: this one is Silver. LG have also changed to a QWERTY keyboard to simplify messaging and included a silver leather case.

Daily Desire: Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon

This one is for Daniel, for you see Daniel has somewhat of a watch fetish, and just for a quick clarification here I don't mean he's sexually attracted to watches or people wearing watches. He has a sizable and ever-expanding collection of them though. Recently I stumbled across this amazing offering from Girard-Perregaux.

Sneaker Freakers top of 2007

The guys at Sneaker Freaker have compiled the list of the best of the best from 2007, in the list we have everyone from designers to shop owners to founders telling us what's what. Sneaker Freaker are the experts when it comes to what's hot for all the boys and girls that love their kicks. Nike is on top this year, though this doesn't really come as a surprise. I would have love to see the Optimus Prime Nike, but it doesn't seem to have made the list.

Daily Desire: MacBook

I want an Apple MacBook, specifically a black MacBook, even more specifically I want my black MacBook. I woke up this morning and the unthinkable had happened: I went to check my email and to my absolute shock & horror she wouldn't turn on, calling Apple didn't help, and as of now she's at my nearest Mac centre waiting to be dissected and seen if she can be repaired. An absolute travesty. So what now? I've had to pull out my old and thoroughly uncool NEC laptop... I was sure it was through between us! But I had to write something.
