It was back in February that we first let you know about the Lily Allen capsule for New Look, and after much waiting the first photos of the 'Lily Loves' capsule have finally hit the net. We're pleased to say that, for the most part, there are some great pieces in the range most keeping with the 2007 Spring / Summer ruffles trend and the mini-dress trend.
We mentioned recently that the new JY Jewels collection had been launched. Well, here is one item from the collection you won't want to miss.

This 'French Lace Silver Rose Cuff' is delicately detailed and wonderfully unique. Visit JYJewels.com.

Kate Moss for Topshop will be available on the topshop.com website at 4.30am on May 1. In addition, 12 London stores will open their doors at 7am (though I highly doubt that will do anything to appease the rush... it will just happen earlier!) So in terms of the 4.30am start, how does that fare for the rest of the world?

A while back we wrote a Daily Desire regarding a pair of Skinny Jeans from April 77, and since then I have developed somewhat of an affinity for the label (even though it is fairly difficult to get in Australia - i.e. I haven't found anywhere that stocks it yet). Now, April 77 have released photos from their latest collection as modelled by their own team no less, how underground is that?

Marios Schwab, named New Designer of the Year 2006, will be stocked at Harvey Nichols for Spring.
Harvey Nichols reports: The Greek/Austrian designer, who originally sprung up through the creative hot house Fashion East, is interested in the detailing of lingerie. So cup forms, under-wires and geometric pattern pieces are employed to give feature to otherwise restrained dress shapes.
Victoria Bartlett's latest VPL collection has been titled "Modern Suffragettes" - and pays homage to the women who fought for the cause of women's equality in the 20th century.
From Fashion Wire Daily:
"We wanted to do a topical show," said Bartlett in her sunny New York showroom on a crisp spring day. "Heroic women who fought for women's independence."Each of these women are represented through different styles, with period details given a modern edge there are the fitted Victorian-style jackets that reference Pankhurst's turn-of-the-century style, but lack the discomfort of the originals made with a French terry designed to look like a woven fabric. A top with silver metallic "sash" is reminiscent of a suffragette's banner while the "Toklas Tunic" with Twenties-esque drop waist and scarf tie.
For the second season in a row, VPL also collaborated with Jean Michel Cazabet to produce chic shoes and boots high patent leather wedge boots with side snaps and Mary Janes with VPL's signature elastic bands for straps.
Fashionising members Michael and Kerri from the label Amar have announced that they will be unveiling their Spring Summer 2007 / 2008 collection at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.
