New from Joolz: eco-friendly jewelleryAirdrie, fashioniser and creative force behind the label Joolz, never seems to take a breath. Launching her latest designs in Melbourne later this month, she's been busy at work using recycled materials (everything from recycled metal, timber and glass, through to old children's toys!) to create an intriguing new range of accessories.
There are diamond girls and pearls girls, and Airdrie fits firmly into the latter category (as do I). Specsavers launches in AustraliaI've always found it pretty hard to find a pair of specs that are both fashionable and reasonably priced. It's like the major optical stores in Australia have never quite cottoned on to the fact that glasses are a fashion accessory, as well as a necessity, for many people. Specsavers, a highly successful UK franchise, have just hit Australia's shores, and I'm pleased to say they're finally making an effort to fill that market gap.
