I see what you mean. A slim suit or blazer can work but it may look overly corporate with the shirt and tie. To work a blazer into a more youthful and casual look, try jeans and a casual shirt with the blazer. Or even with dress pants you can use a clean tshirt or jumper (rather than a business shirt). Or if you really want to dress more casual, you can try a blazer with a playful/graphical tee and jeans (popstars do this a lot).

The key is to avoid a formal look so you can wear your outfit on a casual day or night out.

Heh, the funny thing is that I don't even use Lookbook at all. But since it brings people into Fashionising as well getting fashion enthusiasts more involved in styling then I'm happy to pass invites. Also, amazing Tom Ford shoe purchase you did recently. I was thinking about getting a pair similar but I'd be too afraid to wear them due to the fear of damaging them. ;)

WOW!!! Congratulations on making it into the selections! Let me guess, it's a contest to be a supermodel right? ;)

I miss dance but I've still been going to the gym everyday and started playing tennis. My schedule is a bit funny at the moment but when the season changes, I will search for a new dance school. Oh and there are a few amazing dance movies coming out soon; Streetdance and StepUp 3D. It's worth a peek.

I think the key is to shop with fashionable people. They seem to appreciate fashion and therefore shopping more and won't get bored nor just be there as the shopping bag holder. ;)

Hi! =) I work for advertising/design studios. So most of the time I'm designing adverts for clients to appear in magazines such as Marie Claire, Madison, Cleo, Cosmopolitan ; the younger side to fashion glossy magazines. One of my art directors does more of the high fashion side. So she works with clients who want designs for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar; she's also a model so she appears in a few of the adverts.
