1. Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare Flicking through a little book of sex tips. Remember when the boys were all electric? The boys are at their best, with a new, rougher sound, witty lyrics to keep us all amused and that same old cute English accent! This album is a must for everyone at Christmas. 2. Klaxons – Myths of the Near Future His ears pricked with their knife hears that the east are coming west are coming. The album is an explosion of indie mixed with electronica to send all your senses into overdrive. Crazy beats, crazy lyrics, screeching guitars and too much synth this is a sure party starter! 3. Patrick Wolf – The Magic Position And look your skirt is torn This album will be the darkest, saddest, happiest and most meaningful you have heard in a while, and the boys will love it too. This record has the most wonderful array instruments you will ever hear, from baritone ukuleles to harps to bird and fox noises! 4. New Young Pony Club – Fantastic Playroom Fantastic flavor fancies A mix of pop and electronica, songs about ice cream, cute bass lines and colours that bring you back to the days of JEM, New Young Pony Club is sure to get the scene kids talking! 5. The Wombats - A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation I've met someone that makes me feel seasick These guys are my new favourite band! And I can tell you now this really is the best album I’ve heard about girls, boys and marsupials. With a mix of Indie and pop and what sounds like three young lads out of high school this album isn't all about first love. With catchy tunes, kick-ass harmonies and great lyrics you are sure to be loved if you give this for Christmas! Check out the Fashionising.com Christmas gift guide for more present ideas.
