To start off the event, a panel of previous winners, including Fashioniser Fiona from Hidden Secrets Tours, responded in depth to questions around business innovation and the future of retail. Next, the nominees for the Lord Mayor's Award were introduced. The nominees were rather surprising and outstanding; from the amazing Wunderkammer, a little store packed full of scientific curiosities and antiquities, through to our favourite boutique magazine store, Magnation. It was Magnation who took out the major award for their inviting and all-encompassing bounty of magazines, while Fashionising members Lenko got an honourable mention for their unique designs and retail space.
