Here’s one unique way to inject some oversized bows into your wardrobe. Sydney label All Of Our Lives specialise in bow-ties and other fancy bits of neck-wear. Their Autumn(Fall)/Winter 2009 lookbook caught our eye for the bold colours, quirky names, and dashing whimsicality.
The collection was inspired by “all things imaginative and colourful, from Crayons to Jack In The Boxes, from LEGO to Lewis Carroll fairy tales”, and you can’t help but be swept up in it’s childhood magic.
So how would you wear it? We would envisage this type of accessory working in a number of ways. Add a colourful pleated collar to a simple black dress; or pair a playful bow-tie with a preppy blazer. Boys can also pull off a dandy look with a quirky twist.
