ACNE‘s style is distinct; edgy yet simple, detailed yet minimal. Some of the outfits in their Autumn/Winter 2010/2011 lookbook are super-cool and striking. Some look like they really shouldn’t work, yet thanks to the leggy elegance that is Frida Gustavsson, they manage to. There are also some intriguing examples of patterned pants, my top pick being these mystical keyhole print ones.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals.
