This British based jewellery designer needs no introduction or fluff; she is talented and is taking the fashion industry by storm. Imogen Belfield is known for her handmade pieces, each intricately sourced and created, giving jewellery a spring in its step! She produces beautiful, bold and unique pieces with fusions of natural minerals, silvers, golds and bronzes. All hand-crafted in her London studio, Imogen designs and makes each piece by hand herself.

Her afternoons are spent walking around the capitals jewellery quarter, Hatton Gardens where she cherry picks her materials; these then go through a process of hand-carving and mould-making techniques. A variation of materials are carefully chosen of which some include, bronze, silver, 22ct yellow gold and rose gold, porcelain, precious stones, as well as raw minerals such as pyrite and fuschite. These then are beautifully constructed into what the brands signature look is; a range of bold, gold rocky and bubbling jewellery. Bespoke pieces are always her most popular; along with smaller more commercial stackable rings, and rock cluster pendants.

When asked what her special features were, Imogen modestly answered:

“I strive to create pieces that look as if they have been plucked from the earth, like lost relics. I aim to emulate the natural and organic forms found in natural objects, and inject that texture and rawness into the metal and into the final piece.”

The intended audience for this eclectic chic brand is not gender specific but instead offers unique pieces that attract both men and women. Her ability to push boundaries season after season is what is shaping not only her signature look, but is also carving a style niche for herself in the fashion industry.

Imogen Belfield’s price point ranges between £70.00 – £950.00 and can be found in the UK at Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Kabiri and Luna & Curious. International stockists include Pixie Market in the U.S.A, Bullets & Butterflies in the UAE and Russell Street in Hong Kong. If that’s not enough then you can get your hands on her creations at

What is ultimately covetable about this brand is that each piece is slightly different from its counterpart; the use of raw stones means that you will walk away with something totally unique and special. After all isn’t that what its all about?

A fashion magpie born and raised in London, Sabi Datoo studied English and Drama and now works in the wonderful world of fashion. Lusting over anything from interiors to jewellery as long as it's unique, when you don't find her infront of a keyboard plying her trade as a freelance fashion writer then it's likely you'll find her sitting at a sewing machine and dreaming of Carrie's fashion-Narnia wardrobe or in a kitchen trying her hand at Chanel inspired cupcakes. With a personal wardrobe that drips with colour and glitter, Sabi hopes to wake up and be Holly Golightly for the day. Every day.
