When I heard Joolz‘s new collection look-book was being shot on location at an Art Deco ballroom, I knew I would not be disappointed with the results. As predicted, the shoot brings together old world glamour, gorgeous styling, and of course striking accessories.

My personal favourites from the collection are the bowtie choker – made from recycled umbrella silk – and of course the amazing butterfly pieces which feature beautiful pearls and hand-crafted vintage playing cards to a truly unique effect.

Joolz’ ability to marry the classic with the quirky, and to think outside the box with the materials used, is what makes this collection such a stand-out. It’s fast becoming a favourite in celebrity circles too, so keep an eye out on red carpets, photoshoots, and even music videos, where you may just spot a piece or two of Joolz.

Be sure to have a peek at the full lookbook, and if you’d like to get your hands on some pieces drop the wonderful Airdrie a line, or visit http://www.joolz.com.au.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
