Burberry Prorsum’s fall 2011 men’s collection does much to evolve the current direction of men’s fashion. Taking many of the elements that we as the sartorially inclined refuse to part with, key amongst them healthy infusions of shearling, it slowly evolves the men’s silhouette away from its current 70s incarnation into something with far more of a 1960s lean. And it does it all without any brashness or overt costuming.
That’s not to say, however, that it’s an interpretation of fall 2011′s fashion that is devoid of statements. Styled true, an interpretation of the Burberry collection can be found in the current issue of Men’s Folio magazine – an interpretation that shows that pops of colour and classic men’s fur are obvious accents and well worth considering for the coming season.
