We’ve always had a soft spot for Mandy Moore, Tania even more-so. Sadly it has to be conceded that her sense of style went through a rough patch whether it was for the wrong fashion picks, or simply gaining weight. In fact, she’s only appeared on our radar once, that time it was for a very sexy vamp look.

But with a new hair style, and a sexy-as-hell use of the sheer clothing trend this may just be a Mandy Moore come-back.

Attending the private preview party for “Vanity Fair Portraits: Photographs 1913-2008″, Moore wore a hot little black dress from Preen’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection which pairs the cut-away trend with lace, to provide an overall sheer and sexual look. I give the look a big thumbs up, even if it’s blatant use of flesh does clash somewhat with a girlish hair style, and a cute-as-a-button smile.

Late one Oxford night Daniel P Dykes set about creating a fashion publication that would go someway to being an arbiter on fashion as it appeals to the emerging power generations: those who don't remember a world without the Internet and for whom work plays second fiddle to pleasure. And so Fashionising.com was born as a publication for those who were focussed not just on fashion's trends, but on society's too, and how those trends could all go to heighten the art of living. Hence, Daniel sees a future where, for those young at heart, both fashion and style are grounded in traditional quality, but with a youthful, sensualised edge. Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
