Marie Antoinette's Pearls Fail to Sell

The set of pearls, purportedly belonging to Marie Antoinette, which we wrote about earlier in 2007 have failed to sell. The pearls left a chaotic and revolutionary France in the care of Elizabeth Leveson-Gower, Duchess of Sutherland, and were later set into a necklace.

The necklace, which graced the wedding ceremony of the Duchess' grandson, were expected to fetch close to £400,000.

Save up your pennies: you might be able to buy this amazing piece the next time it hits the auction block.

It's left to Allan to bring the street look to Fashionising.com. It's simply his scene, and, let's face it, his tastes in high-top Nikes will never be shared by the rest of us. Marrying colourful bright colours with awfully tight skinny jeans has become a trademark look for him, and shows the true nature of fashion trend divergence we're always blogging about. Always beating the pavements of some inner-city hub look to Allan for upcoming street trends that may end up mainstream sooner then you think.
