More details on the Prada Mobile Phone

Written by Daniel P Dykes

The Prada phone is coming, and they're trying to steal Apple's thunder.

Touting it as the the "world's first advanced touch interface", the phone will feature an in-built MP3 player, video player, document viewer, blue-tooth, and, oh, a phone. All-in-all it comes across as a more basic version of the Apple iPhone, but with Apple's release date much later in the year this is still going to hurt their sales with the fashion market.

Those of us in Europe will be able to get our hands on the Prada phone by LG. Asian countries, possibly including Australia, will be able to get the phone in March. Sorry to our US readers, you're unlikely to see it at all as it's made for the Tri-Band telephone network which isn't available to you.

The phone is expected to retail for 600 euros.

Traditionalist and futurist are two of the labels applied to Daniel, but he sees the two as being in perfect balance. With a keen eye on the future and his finger on the pulse he helps keep fashionisers everywhere ahead in the fashion stakes as Fashionising.com's lead fashion trend analyst. Believing that the late-2000s credit crisis will be ultimately good for fashion, Daniel sees a future for fashion where grounded in traditional values; where luxury fashion again comes to represent quality production as opposed to being solely label driven.

Currently based in Melbourne, Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
