Countless lingerie stories are coming across our desks right now. Etam have just held their 2011 catwalk, Victoria’s Secret have a new look book out, and so do innumerous other labels the world over. Such overload always means one thing, it’s the tail end of January and, thus, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
London’s Myla is another label to have released a new look book in time for the seasonal soiree; which is something of a notable fact given they’ve manage to largely avoid all of the annoying Valentine’s Day lingerie cliches and instead concentrate on actual appeal as opposed to the assumed appeal that generally comes around this time of year.
That is if you discount the look book’s last few pictures, which sadly fall prey to the notion of Valentine’s Day dress ups. I’m never certain why lingerie falls prey to costuming.
