Sienna Miller definitely had her time in the spotlight as one of the most influencial celebrities on the fashion scene. Since the demise of the boho movement, she’s fallen out of favour somewhat, but is still one to watch for papparazi, entertainment news sources and fashion followers. The creation of her twenty8twelve label, born out of a partnership with her fashion designer sister Savannah, will mark an interesting time for Sienna.

If released two years ago, at the height of her fashion-icon status, the label would have been sure to generate much hype and sales. The question is, will that still happen now?

Thankfully, judging by a new photoshoot for Vogue UK, the quality and design of the range looks good – and in that sense, it’s a relief that it doesn’t rely on hype to make it. We’re betting it will still generate a following, particularly for those after the more unqiue pieces on offer.

Some of the garments we’ve seen play heavily towards current trends, such as wide-leg pants, leather jackets and slouchy 80s tees; but there are also strong elements of period femininity – such as ruffled jackets reminiscent of the Edwardian era. Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
