Tiah Eckhardt is elegantly scant

Elegantly Scant left no doubt as to their brand’s mission when they christened it: scant, yes; elegant, to a degree. Either way you don’t have to visit their website’s About page to know you’re in for lingerie – the kind of the lingerie that sits somewhere between classic and sexy. Also the kind that requires a model with a certain sort of air about her, an air that Australian model (and outright bombshell redhead) Tiah Eckhardt has made her own time and time again.

Luck for Elegantly Scant then that they too are Australian. So it is that Tiah Eckhardt is the face of their spring 2011 ad campaign, playing up to the ‘Desperate Housewives’ theme of the collection. A housewife seemingly desperate not to finish the house work, nor to stay in the stale surrounds of the house she finds herself in.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
