Tovah’s pleated perfection

When Tovah’s spring 2012 collection isn’t busy presenting futuristic outfits that make me want to hop a spaceship to the off-world colonies, it’s beckoning me with the allure of a more classic wardrobe staple: the perfect pleated maxi-skirt. If curating your wardrobe means a mix of classics and trend pieces then this qualifies – perfect for right now, but never too far from classic. For those wanting something a little more unique there’s also a palazzo pant version in the collection.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals.
