Augustin Teboul paints it black with perfection

Some people treat black clothing and desirable fashion as if the two are hopelessly estranged. But AUGUSTIN TEBOUL is the kind of label that proves you can subtract colour from the equation and still hit on the right answer. Every outfit in their beautiful spring 2013 look book is at once edgy and classic – and it’s all black. Often you get the sense that the 1920s has jolted forwards in time and collided with the now, where beaded black gowns drape dangerously low, shapeless in their vintage silhouettes but modern in their revealing cuts, or where relaxed tailored pieces meet intricate delicate ones. Leather clashes with lace, silk with edgy mesh leggings.

Designed by duo Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul, the label is founded on the premise of luxurious black pieces that romance the modern Gothic and fit the description of both avant garde and feminine.
