Men’s details: a few new pieces

The most perfect vintage sunglasses store in Italy offered me many a great thing: a new must-visit store in Italy’s north that I’ll return to for years to come. Exceptional service. Three pairs of mirrored sunglasses so good that I’d wear all three at once if only I had three sets of eyes.

This is them, along with a few other new accessories I’ve both added to my wardrobe and featured on Fashionising.com’s Instagram recently.

In that mix of new accessories are;

A vintage pair of black-framed sunglasses from Sferoflex with silver, metallic lenses.

A vintage pair of Persol sunglasses from the 1970s. They had their original brown lenses still set within their frame, and I’ve (temporarily) changed them for a pair of mirrored blue lenses.

A new pair of folding, Ray-Ban Wayfarers in blue with mirrored blue lenses. Sadly, Ray-Ban don’t produce their folding sunglasses in a matte frame, otherwise my purchase would have likely leaned that way.

Three new silver rings from the night market in Italy’s Lucca. One is a mesh, one a buckle, and the another is Turkish wedding ring (a.k.a a puzzle ring).

A gold money clip from Israeli designer Keren Wolf.

He was 5 when his teacher wrote on his report card “Daniel can’t sit still.” Taking it as a compliment, he’s been on the go ever since. Having flown over 590,000 kilometres in a single year (2012), he’s done much to push the boundaries of a fashioniser, always looking to fold one extra Tom Ford suit into his set of Samsonite cases and for one extra occasion to tie a tie for. As much an editor-at-large as he is Fashionising.com’s Editor-in-chief, when he's not travelling to all the fashion weeks his passports will allow him to, Daniel works on guiding this publication’s editorial and trend views.
