Searching for an iPad carry case seems to be a tireless task. All the cases I come across are either too utilitarian or not functional enough, too gadgety or too plasticky. Mostly though it seems that the they’re just plain ugly. Stumbling across Makr’s iPAD Attaché has brought some new light into this dark path oft littered with clear plastic mess or pleather alternatives.

The attaché case’s construction is simple with big bold robust hand stitching which holds the single piece of leather in shape and a sturdy Cordovan closure. The very simplicity of the overall package is what draws me to this case, with no extraneous fold-out keyboards, speakers or a new ingenious method for propping up the iPad in evidence. Even the makers mark is hidden below the flap avoiding my least favourite thing, becoming a walking billboard.
