A gaggle of gorgeous models, an Andy Warhol style layout, and some seriously skilled styling got yourself a lookbook. Add to that a selection of super-slick sunglasses and you’re on for a winner!
Long awaited and well overdue, Aus-favourite Sass & Bide have just released their debut collection of sunglasses – rejoice! Titled, King of Plenty, the 2011/12 collection fuses strong lines, fine details, modern silhouettes and vintage inspiration. With some statement styles here and some more subtle shapes there, the collection caters for a broad range of ages, looks and personal tastes.
With 10 different styles, each in-fitting with the brands eclectic aesthetics, the collection has various colours and styles to choose from – tortoise to leopard print, round rims to lasercut trims, and personal favorites being the hexagonal red frames.
With attention to detail being a brand baseline, Sass and Bide’s values remain ubiquitous. Features such as embossed braiding and rose gold chains make for luxury aesthetics, and the addition of the star on each arm echoes that of the designers’ matching tattoos. Throwing themselves further into the collection, family members join Sarah-Jane and Heidi as the face of the campaign.
Set for a September release in Australia, marking the start of the summer, keep your eyes open in stores nationwide.
