If Simone Perele’s latest look book feels distinctively classic, it’s not surprising: for autumn / winter 2013, the brand went back to the archives.
The result is a set of five beautifully made collections – Lumière, Simone, Marylin, Ludivine and Olympe – which bring the brand’s trademark lacework and luxury fabrications into harmony with classically elegant shapes and contemporary cuts. As always, the emphasis is on femininity and finding the right balance. This is one brand where sexy doesn’t equate to impractical, and comfort doesn’t have to mean plain cotton.
Inspired by the legendary original pieces by Simone Perele that still reside in the company’s archives, it’s a collection to satisfy brand devotees – and convert new ones. The pieces are the kind of quality that’s worth checking out in person, but in the meantime you can view the rest of the Simone Perele autumn / winter 2013 look book by clicking on the thumbnails.
