Victoria’s Secret fantasy bra released

Victoria’s Secret’s annual ‘fantasy bra’ is either brilliantly luxurious or preposterously extravagant, depending on who you ask. But the thing it always is, without fail, is a successful marketing tactic. Who can resist having a peek at what a 2.5 million dollar bra could possibly look like?

Victoria's Secret fantasy bra 2012

This year it looks like a (comparatively) understated floral design, created by London Jewelers of New York from nearly 5,200 precious gems. There’s everything from sapphines and rubies to various hues of diamond, all set in 18-karat rose and yellow gold.

The 2012 fantasy bra is modelled by Alessandra Ambrosio.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
