High-end designer collections for normally low-end stores are certainly the trend de jour right now. Take a look at Target in the US for instance, with stores still stocking the Proenza Schoulere, they're previewing a capsule by designer Patrick Robinson.

Photos from the preview can be found at the Target press room (if only all labels had such a tool!)

After the mad rush that was the Stella McCartney for Target release, some Victorian ladies will be pleased to know that a number of left-over or returned pieces have been pulled together into the Chadstone, Burke St and Southland Target stores.

COS, the "new fashion brand that puts the haute in high street," has opened in London.
According to the press release issued by H&M:

Want to get your hands on the hottest threads to his Australia this season?
To celebrate the launch of Fashionising, the social fashion network and the new home of Rogue's Lifestyle Blog, we're giving away several pieces from the range.

And we don't mean to be her boyfriend, but it turns out that the much rumoured 'Kate Moss Waiting List' for the supermodel's Top Shop fashion capsule does not exist.
Seemingly, unless you've got some inside connections you're going to have to wait till 1 May.
In sharp contrast to last season, Prada's most recent collection features only 'fake fur' using mainly wool and mohair. Designer Miuccia Prada said that she avoided use of real fur because its everywhere and she is 'bored' with it.
We just hope that it really is fake fur, and not the dog-fur that's been popping up everywhere claiming to be fake fur.

It seems we can't go five minutes these days without another designer/store collaboration being announced. Not that anyone is really complaining - but it certainly seems to be becoming a necessity for the survival of any chain or department store. The latest word is that Toni Maticevski will be designing a capsule collection for Myer.
The Maticevski for Myer collection will see dresses priced from $400 - $700, and will hit the department store next month.
A popular entry at New York Fashion week, Maticevski studied fashion at RMIT University in Melbourne.

Want to dress like British two-tone princess Lily Allen? You might not be the only one who wants her sense of style. New Look are counting on it.
In collaboration with New Look, Lilly will be behind a capsule collection called 'Lily Loves'.
The capsule will include 6 dresses and and is also expected to include footwear (no doubt trainers) and jewellery.
It'll be released in May.
Pricing information on Stella McCartney's exclusive range for Target Australia has emerged.
