Hang Tuff Clothing Range

Written by Steph Braukamper on 29.05.07

What do you get for the person who has everything?
Nothing because they have everything.
For everyone else there's HANG TUFF.

A startling new range of caps and t-shirts that says I'm not going to compromise unless I really have to. Wearing HANG TUFF is a statement and that statement is "Mum's gone down the shops so I'm going to have another glass of cordial."

The brainchild of two men who have brains the size of children HANG TUFF is available exclusively from merrickandrosso.com for a limited "lets order a few and see how it goes" time. Wear it, Live it but if you're tired have a little nap.... Now is the time to HANG TUFF!

For any of those who don't know Merrick and Rosso (Two Australian Radio Presenters on Nova 100) have just put out their own 'fashion label' by the name of "Hang Tuff." Its strange yet wonderful and im not sure if I should be taking it seriously... some of the stuff is quite cool while some is really quite weird. What do you think??

How to make your own vintage style bracelet

Written by Paula Teixeira on 27.05.07

If you feel like getting creative, Couture Candy have a great tip for using an old brooch to make your very own bracelet:

Find some old lapel pins or brooches and some luxurious ribbon. Velvet is my favorite.

Most of us have a handful of pins passed down from Mom or Grandmom from another era when brooches easily complimented a wardrobe. Now, not so much, but you can add these little jewels to your wrist making a chic bracelet with a dose of heritage.

Sienna Miller's label gets its own store

Written by Daniel P Dykes on 11.05.07

If the failure of Lily Allen's capsule for New Look to generate a buzz is anything to go by, people may be well over celebrity 'designed' clothing collections. However, Sienna Miller's collection, twenty8twelve, may just be the exception to the rule. While in reality a capsule designed for Pepe Jeans it's going to promoted as a unique label devoid of any brand associations. What's more, it's going to get its own store;

The Twenty8Twelve store is set to open in London's Notting Hill in September reports WWD.

The Millers' line will [also] be sold at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman in the U.S., Holt Renfrew in Canada and Harvey Nichols and Matches in the U.K.

The label is being more heavily promoted at the moment, with previews for a number of people in the media, and Portfolio has managed a few snaps;

Headbands - the lavish way

Written by Ren on 10.05.07

Some months back we took a look at Dominique Duval's 'Rivers of Gold' headband, a somewhat elaborate and glamorous version headband, over at style spy. Well the headband trend has continued, throwing away simplicity for big patterns and glitzy designs. Natalie Portman has been seen wearing an authentic diamond headband, as well as Eva Longoria who prefers wearing the Swarovski Crystal Red headband.

Now even your garbage bags can be fashionable

Written by Paula Teixeira on 09.05.07

Ever thought that your garbage bags were too ugly? No? Well, even so, now you can have fashionable ones. They come in a black and white damask pattern, with blue drawstring and are $9.99 for a pack of 20 at organize-everything.com.

Core77 make a very valid point: "those truly concerned about how they look while lugging trash to the street usually pay someone else to do it."

Apparently someone is buying them though - the website states they're out of stock.
