If you’re after a pair of super-short denim hot pants then Wrangler are making themselves the brand to look to. From the super cheeky to the frayed, they seem to have all manner of revealing shorts covered (or not so covered, as the case may be). You can find more examples in the brand’s Australian Spring 2010 campaign below.

Another offering from Wrangler for your Summer denim shorts options. Once again Wrangler are offering up a cut of shorts in line with the hot pants trend, though this time the hemline isn’t as short, and it’s toned down by the fraying. They’ve still balanced the look with what promises to be an excellent high-waisted cut.

These Ellery shorts are the kind that balance elegance and sex: pastel suede and a relaxed cut, paired with a short hemline. They’re on sale at The Grand Social for $785.00 (AUD). Update: they sold out after we wrote about them. Hope you were quick and nabbed yourself a pair.

As a wardrobe staple for Summer you can never go past denim shorts with exposed pockets. Allow Lindsey Wixson to demonstrate.

As much as Allan may loathe the double denim trend, I have some news that he’ll just have to face: Hanneli knows how to rock it. The all-denim look is expertly broken up with a tan leather belt; and I’m absolutely loving the cut-away shoulders on the denim shirt. See more street style looks at that link

I’m finding it hard to fault these Reiss leather ankle boots. They come in an edible caramel leather; the shape is beautiful and the heel height tall enough to look great, but small enough to be practical. And the buckle detail add some uniqueness.
