The MMSFW launch parties - four in one night!

Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week kicked off last night, a day early and with not one but four different parties!

The créme de la créme of Australia's fashion world kicked things off at Alto, the visually stunning 25th floor of Melbourne's Langham hotel. Drinks, cakes, oysters, and models galore all helped set the theme for what will be a hell of a week. Of course, things didn't store there.

The official launch party after party (because you need a title for an excuse to party, right?) was enjoyed by many of those involved in the week at Curve, while on the other side of the Yarra River the crowd was enjoying the launch of Miishu Boutique's Spring-Summer 2007/2008 range at Baroq House. From there it was off to Alto at GPO, where the Redken gift bags were snapped up with fervour. And if that wasn't enough, the after-after-after party saw people head back to Baroq House.

Four parties in one night, we clearly don't know how to pace ourselves.

If you're looking to enjoy the best of MMSFW with us, don't forget to check out the fashion week parties Fashionising has organised.

Blog Post Written By Daniel P Dykes
Traditionalist and futurist are two of the labels applied to Daniel, but he's in on the joke. When it comes to fashion he's a futurist, keeping a look out for new trends and designers, and using Fashionising.com as a driving force for change in the fashion world. He's a traditionalist with most everything else, but that's the Brit in him. He says: Boots for men are severely underrated. We say: It's easy to say that when you're part of the polo set.
