So here they are - keep an eye out for these in the magazines in the next few months.
Look out after the jump for the rest of the shots. Lacoste's Lethal TennisLacoste's latest ad campaign asks a question, one which is in fact dear to my heart. The question is "what will Tennis be like 2083?" The answer of course is that it looks extremely dangerous but cool, with a mix of some kind of lightsaber racket, body armour, heads up display and a pair of shoes I would definitely not be saying no to.
Oh and instead of an opponent you have some kind of crazy wall that tell you how fast your hit was (I hope it does metric measurements too) and launch the ball back at you at what seems to be crazily astronomical speeds, why else would you need the body armour? In fact the need for body armour may scare me away from ever playing Tennis again. You may want to check out the rest of the campaign shots in our forum or just after the jump. Elizabeth Hurley for MNG S-S 2008Knowing full well that photoshopping isn't an option at a photo call, model-come-actress Liz Hurley remains fully clothed at the launch of "Elizabeth Hurley for MNG" collection in Munich.
It wasn't the same story for the Spring / Summer 2008 advertisements, with Hurley donning her own designs for the occasion. Linda Evangelista for PradaIt's nice to see the bigger fashion houses turning away from using stars in their campaigns even if it is to the super models of the last decade. Now Linda Evangelista has been given the tap, and will be the face of Prada's Fall(Autumn)-Winter 2008/2009 campaign. The campaign will be shot by Steven Miesel, quite exciting if you consider the last time they worked together the result was the 'Makeover Maddness' issue of Vogue Italia.
Update: Patrick Dempsey for VersaceA little while ago we wrote about Patrick Dempsey becoming the new face for Versace in '08 as shot by Mario Testino. The first shots from the campaign are just hitting magazines such as GQ, and I'm still not convinced that Patrick was the best choice.
Drew Barrymore for Gucci JewelsNot so long ago we told you that Drew Barrymore would be the first celebrity to face Gucci Jewels and brought you the first photo from the campaign. Today we've got our hands on more sexy shots from campaign, all lensed by the Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Roberto Cavalli for H&M - first commercialWe've only seen one of the print adverts celebrating Roberto Cavalli's collection for H&M, but we're not using the term celebrate lightly. Lensed by photographer Terry Richardson, the adverts highlight a party theme that H&M are keen for us to get into the mood of.
Nolita point out that models aren't annorexicIt's not a pretty sight to behold, but Nolita hope it will sell their clothes. 23 year old anorexic Isabelle Caro posed for the label's latest campaign, which aims to both shock and make a statement. That statement: assumedly, Nolita don't support anorexic models. Controversy has already erupted over the campaign, which was shot by Oliviero Toscani, with some saying it's too crass, and others claiming it will spark a weight-loss competition amongst anorexia sufferers.
Alicia Silverstone how naked for PETA exactlyPETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) aren't highly regarded in the fashion industry. After a bevy of crazy stunts, where they've stormed catwalks and made immature nuisances of themselves, it has very much become a case of 'us and them'. So when their latest campaign hit the Internet most people in the industry sighed a collective breath of relief. There were no crazy stunts to be seen, not even a crazy protester (well past her prime) flashing her privates. No, all we were hit with was a very naked Alicia Silverstone.
Gisele looks hot wearing nothing but waterWho would have thought it - a dress made entirely of water. It may not be the most practical of attire, but practicality never really stops Gisele now does it? She stripped off in a campaign for her new Ipanema line of sandals, to be covered up only by a dress made of water (photoshopped in of course - if only such a dress existed.)
