5 to see: Penthouse Mouse 2011

Now in its fourth year, Penthouse Mouse has become something of an unofficial calendar highlight known for shining a spotlight onto the edgier, more alternative side of Melbourne fashion. Like much of LMFF (L’Oreal Melbourne fashion festival) Penthouse Mouse this year gets a bigger and better revamp; making its home at Shed 4 of the Docklands where we’ll be treated to a boozy launch party, two off-site runway shows, and the weekend-long ‘False Economy’ department store where you can head down and shop the goods.

Labels include favourites like Limedrop, Leonard Street, Trimapee, Alexi Freeman, Mecurialist, Above, Jolet and more.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person.
