Amelie actress Audrey Tautou has been cast as the infamous Chanel creator Coco Chanel. The film depicts Coco’s early life as she adapted the fashion of her generation and into her own. The resemblance between Coco and Audrey is quite uncanny and she was cleverly cast as the famous designer who paved the way we look at fashion today. Coco’s mannish take on the ladies suit can be seen in oversized boy blazers and wide legged trousers, and the quilted Chanel handbags that have been repeated and updated will never go out of style.

To maximise the franchise and promote the brand, Audrey Tautou also stars in the New Chanel No.5 Ad where she joins the fairytale world that Karl Lagerfeld continues for the brand in Coco’s memory today.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
