Prahran hair & beauty salon Blondes to Brunettes are always surprising us with their creativity and ability to get involved in the world of fashion and design. As we’ve seen in the past, the salon’s windows are always brimming with unique concepts and collaborations; and this time it’s RMIT’s design students who are gaining exposure through the salon’s window showcase.

Titled Blondes to Brunettes + RMIT Fashion Friendship: 365 Days of Design, the new partnership provides valuable support to up and coming design talent by way of the changing exhibition space, as well as in complementary professional photo shoots and assistance with promotional materials, media exposure and PR.

First up in the space is a concept by Takahiro Kunitoshi and Ayisha Tutone, two of RMIT University’s design students.

For more about the salon visit http://www.blondestobrunettes.com.au/, or if you’re in Melbourne simply take a stroll down Prahran’s High Street and have a peek at what creative installment is adorning the window space.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
