Having opened his first shop in Nottingham in 1970, Sir Paul Smith is no stranger to the world of fashion. Over the past three decades he has established himself as ecclectic, eccentric, but with unrivalled imagination and attention to detail. This month has seen a significant expansion of his label, with new flagship stores opening in Paris, New York, and Russia.
Paris
The 300 square metre store is located at 3 Rue Faubourg St Honorein, in Paris' most prestigious shopping district. Set up with a series of differently themed rooms including seperate rooms for Women's wear, Men's wear, contempory collections and (in true Paul Smith style), a 'bookshop' with first edition English and French books, and 'curiosity shop' for odd bits and pieces.

New York
Officially opened with a star-studded launch party on November 9, this new flagship sits on Green Street, New York.
Russia
Paul Smith's first Russian store opened this month at 3 Red Square, Moscow. The shop has tall, vaulted plaster ceilings and a mix of old and new furnishings ranging from modern steel counters to 1960s tables to Louis XV chairs.

Paul Smith's stores are always worth a visit not just for the clothing, but for the creativity of the shop layouts and designs.
