You may know him better as "Miss J" from his role on America's Next Top Model.
Alexander's career started when he modelled on the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier in New York City, and since then he has evolved into an in-demand casting agent and runway coach.
This will be J. Alexander's first trip to Melbourne.
Anne Hathaway's star continues to rise with an abundance of critical acclaim surrounding her latest film, Rachel Getting Married.
When Kym (Hathaway) returns to the Buchman family home for the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt), she brings a long history of personal crisis, family conflict and tragedy along with her.
The wedding couple's abundant party of friends and relations have gathered for a joyful weekend of feasting, music and love, but Kym - with her biting one-liners and flair for bombshell drama - is a catalyst for long-simmering tensions in the family dynamic.
Filled with the rich and eclectic characters that remain a hallmark of Jonathan Demme's films, Rachel Getting Married paints a heartfelt, perceptive and sometimes hilarious family portrait. Rachel Getting Married hits cinemas in Australia on February 12.
We have 20 double-passes to Rachel Getting Married to give away. The competition closes soon, but if you haven't already entered, keep an eye on the Fashionising.com newsletter for details on how to win.

Some of you local Melbournians may have spotted the freshly postered scaffolding at Melbourne Central and Chapel St hailing the opening of 5 cm. The brand is one of Hong Kong's fashion powerhouses, which somehow has managed to trickle its way down the Pacific Rim all the way Down Under.

Soon to be made into a major motion picture, The Art of Social War is the story of 35-year old Stacey Knight, a die-hard New York woman who is forced to move to LA; and who cleverly uses Sun Tzu's military principles to navigate the rough seas of Hollywood's high society.
The Art of Social War, Jodi Wing's debut novel, is scheduled to hit the shelves tomorrow.
This is one book I'm certainly looking forward to. If you're keen to get your hands on a copy, we have a few to give away in our upcoming newsletter. Subscribe now to find out the details of how to win!

Coming high on our list of movies we hope won't suck comes the biopic about fashion legend Coco Chanel.
Starring the gorgeous Audrey Tautou, who you may remember from her portrayal of Sophie Neveu from the film version of the Da Vinci Code. The film revolves around the life of Coco before the establishment of her Fashion Empire. We hear from some good sources that we will also see Demi Moore & Shirley Maclaine in this film as well.
PS: We're totally digging the androgynous look in the poster.
